My work “The Absence of Two” will be exhibited
in the VERBUND COLLECTION exhibition
“CARE MATTERS” at the Albertina Museum in Vienna, Austria.

The protagonists of this work - My grandmother and my cousin Daiki
spent their whole lives in a quiet rural town in Miyazaki, Japan.
To think that their story will travel to the Albertina Museum
and in its 250th anniversary year—is truly an honor beyond words.
If you happen to visit Vienna during the exhibition period,
I warmly encourage you to visit the Albertina
and see the works gathered under the theme of “Care.”
